Short mittens are made from sealsking, caribou, and polar bear fur. The palms are waterproof sealskin, the backs are warm caribou fur, and thick polar bear-fur cuffs bridge the gap to the parka sleeve. Sewn with a slight curl, the shape makes it easier to grasp things in low temperatures.
