'nuit children photographing each other. "MacMillan encouraged children to look through the camera," says sculptor Pauta Saila, who was a child when the Bowdoin visited his father's camp. These two little girls, Tarkto and Sheojuk, both died within the year from infections that spread through the camps. "They used to be my playmates," Pauta recalls.'
