Based on the Gold Rush, this game was advertised as having "surprises, divers [sic] dangers and successes to persevering" - qualities that appealed to Robert Peary and other explorers. It includes the board with a map of parts of Alaska, a spinner, four "men," and a fake-gold nugget. Horsman's "Game of Klondike" allowed children and adults alike to try their luck in the northern goldfields.
